Wonderful hotel and restaurant. Room very good. Food and service excellent. We were on a small tour near Rothenburg. We will come back in any case. The beer garden is a dream

A great hotel with a lot of charm. Old and quaint. I liked that from the start. Our room was lovingly decorated and offered adequate comfort. The staff was very friendly and familiar and yet professional. However, the food in the restaurant is sensational. A small, clear menu offers the most important things that you should eat regionally there. A first-class taste experience and a fantastic eye-catcher. Certainly not the lightest fare, but people enjoy indulging themselves here. The restaurant receives 5 stars. Why the overall rating only made it to 4 stars was due to the cleanliness in the bathroom and the annoying motorcycle noises from the street. Well, the nice staff can't do anything about the street noise. Is sure to be seasonal. But something can be done about the brown finish in the toilet. Still, I was thrilled with our stay. I can really recommend it!

Prior phone reservation was friendly. We sat in the courtyard under the maple tree - very atmospheric !! Service was friendly. Although I pointed this out when I called, the high chair was only brought after the drinks were on the table. The portion of fries for the kids was brought out very quickly - that was very good !! Goat cheese with honey and pesto was the amuse-geule of the house. My wife had sous-vide boiled beef - unfortunately sans taste. There was a lack of salt / pepper / other spices. I had roasted onion roast, rare when the waitress asked for it. Reordering side dishes from spaetzle to fried potatoes was no problem. The meat was of a very good quality. The degree of frying, however, was consistently bleu. Again, there was a lack of salt / pepper ... The fried potatoes either too reusch or not at all. The onions were very good and very crispy. We found it inappropriate that the staff and the boss at the entrance to the garden terrace sat at the table and smoked / talked. Shouldn't actually be done in front of the guest. Overall, our expectations from the recommendations and the website were unfortunately not met.

We were very satisfied. Thanks to the boss, she takes really loving care of her guests. Rooms well equipped, handicapped accessible and the dog was allowed!

Mega tasty and absolutely inexpensive!

The atmosphere was a bit cool. The service was very attentive, but the construction could still be expanded. The food was inexpensive and tasted good. Recommended.

Super nice hosts, fantastic, stylish food in a wonderful setting. What more do you want? Unfortunately I can not judge the rooms. We were only there for dinner.

This hotel can only be rated as excellent. The old building (nicely renovated) has a very special flair. The rooms are very spacious and very well equipped. The staff deserve special praise. The whole team is very attentive, nice and friendly. We felt very comfortable. Thanks alot!

Occupational night. Room clean and very spacious. Unfortunately, you could hear pretty much everything from the hallway. The door was not very insulating. Otherwise recommended

A bit pricy, but the food was very delicious. I would definitely go there again.

Nice little town, rooms were spacious with a large bed. Breakfast was good, and the staff was friendly. The wifi was absolutely terrible however, speed was abysmal even when standing right nearby an access point. Pillow was paper-thin, hard to sleep on. No AC, very hot rooms.

Clean, specious rooms. Lovely beer garden. Great food. Friendly service.
